Maximum safety and reliability is ensured by automatic monitoring mechanisms+—
Loudspeaker lines are - imperceptible to humans - cyclically checked for interruption, short circuit, ground fault and deviations in the loudspeaker power rating. The verification of live announcements is done by a output power measurement. Cyclical end-to-end tests check the minimum necessary quality of network connections between call stations and the PAGA control center.
Approval according to Deutsche Bahn according to standard level 1 and 2+—
Our PAGA solutions meet the standards for equipment "Beschallung auf Bahnsteigen der Deutschen Bahn gemäß Ausstattungsniveau 1 und 2". They are approved for all connecting techniques by the EBA (German Federal Railway Authority).
Up to 50 % cost savings for security level III systems (VDE 0833‑4)+—
Systems of safety level III according to VDE 0833‑4 must be able to sound in all alarm areas in the event of a single fault in such a way that the speech intelligibility according to the STI method does not fall below 0.45.
Our solution does not require a dublicated second system to fullfill this requirement. Due to a so-called n+1
redundancy function, one (1) additional central unit is sufficient.
Integrated backup amplifiers+—
Each of the 4 integrated amplifiers can take over the task of a failed amplifier.
Standard error management through SNMP support+—
Errors and various status information are sent via SNMP traps or are available via standard SNMP MIB queries.
Support of synthetic automatic announcements+—
PAGA control centers can be linked to a passenger information system. Via an SES/XML interface, previously recorded text modules are selected, queued together and played back. Alternatively, the integrated TTS Engine, driven by VoiceXML or similar interfaces, can generate fully synthetic announcements.
Never too loud and never too quiet+—
The volume of the announcements can be adjusted to the time of day using the predefined volume control. In addition, it is possible to lower or raise the volume before the announcement via the dynamic, environment-noise-dependent adjustment.
Up to 90 % cost savings in system leveling task+—
Das Einpegeln von Beschallungsanlagen (also die richtige Verstärkungseinstellung vom Mikrofon zu den Lautsprechern) kann bei vielen Quellen und Lautsprecherlinien sehr aufwendig werden.
The leveling task for PAGA systems (i.e. the correct gain
setting from the microphone to the speaker) can be very time-consuming with many
sources and speaker lines.
Instead of mSources˙nLines leveling
operations, only mSources+nLines operations
are necessary because all levels are set against an internal reference.
Only one (instead of two) service technician is required.
